Wow!!! What a horrible loss to the Suns yesterday, they just flat out beat us! And with the Mavericks victory, say hello to the 8th seed in the west and the downward spiral continues, we should be out of the playoff seeding by the end of the week if we keep having to play w/o Bogut and Lee. It's tumultuous times for us Warriors fans right now and it's time for Bob Myers to step it up and make a move! Rumor has it they might be interested in Brandon Bass. I like that idea but would have loved it 4 years ago. He does threaten the post a little bit even though undersized.

I keep saying that the two things we need are an aggressive, athletic, 1 or 2 so long as they are relentless at attacking the rim, can finish and 1's or dish out to open shooters, but they need to have major sick handles, more so than Curry to be effective and improve our offensive efficiency. Or we need someone that can threaten the post more significantly that Bogut/Lee can so we have the ability to dump the rock into the middle when our outside shooting slumps which is a virtual certainty in every game lately. Bass can certainly remedy that a bit, but I think we need to look at other possibilities. Only accept Bass if it is for cheap. I'd much rather see us go after Monroe, Drummand or Asik personally.

Heck of a game last night! Loved it, if only they could bring that kind of energy on a nightly basis. Well..... they did take a while to get started and that was a problem but after that "Look at yourself" motivational speech that coach Jackson gave, they seemed like an entirely different team. We got the win even without the sevices of DLee and ABogut. It was quite the spectacle to behold!!

Great game!! Thompson finally found a bit of a rhythm and let's hope that it continues because if we're going to do any damage in the playoffs (assuming we get there) we are going to need him to perform consistently, every single night, not just 1 game out of every 3-5 like he is doing now, we can't afford to have him disappearing that often, in the playoffs that could seal our fate and that fate wouldn't be a good one!

I hope all of you Dubs fans will tag along with me as we take this journey and discuss the past, present and future of our beloved Golden State Warriors, with little or no interruption from those other teams in the great Bay Area. Hopefully by the time our team finally recaptures that elusive NBA title we will all come here first to discuss it and shower our FO and team with compliments on how they became the world's best again. It's going to be fun, but no desired accomplishment can be acquired without experiencing some bumps along the road to glory!

As a matter of fact, right now it is very bumpy for this team with 5 of 7 losses, at home nonetheless during this easier part of our 2013/14 season. The lowest point being that horrendous loss at home again versus the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, I mean they flat out kicked our asses! The team should be ashamed with how badly they played. I don't even know how or if they even could look in the mirror after that drubbing! It was pathetic!

I'm at the point right now where I feel that it's time for Myers to move Thompson or Barnes, or both. They cannot get it done consistently enough and are showing no signs of improvement. With these losses piling up, we need to get better lane penetration with an athletic PG that can drive and dish or drive, get fouled and convert 3 point plays or a more legitimate threat to the post. DLee tries but is undersized, under-athletic and can't get it done plus his current injury isn't helping matters and Bogut, although terrific on D, has almost no offensive game aside from rebounds and put backs or lobs for dunks/lay ups. He can't maneuver the lane and come up with some fancy turn around or jump hook or dipsy do - a la - Hakeem Olajuwan of course few can duplicate what "The Dream" did but we need someone that can keep the post as a constant threat. The Dubs could definitely benefit from someone like big Al Jefferson from Tuesday night just to site an example.

I'm a long time Golden State Warriors fan, held season tickets for many years but gave them up several years ago when my life got busy. I live in the Bay Area and this is the only team that I can say that I follow, religiously.

Unfortunately, all the media in this area is soo caught up with kissing the butts of the Giants and 49ers and placing the Dubs on the back burner, that I got infuriated and decided to create my own space, online or otherwise, where I could talk about the Dubs until the cows come home and not have to worry about stupid interruptions or commercials or radio callers that want to talk about nothing but the Giants, even in the middle of football season! It's absolute madness, I'm sick of it and it needs to be stopped!. They sucked ass last year and still I had to listen to caller after caller after caller discuss what the Giants could, should, couldn't or shouldn't do. Enough is enough already!!

I can appreciate that the Giants have won a World Series and the 49ers got to a Super Bowl, although failed to win. They are deserving of regular discussions and I always want good things to happen for all of our Bay Area teams, but when the baseball season is over, the last thing I want to listen to is fans calling up and discussing what the Giants need to do 3-4 MONTHS before training camp even begins! I could care less about what happens in Arizona, it means nothing to the actual season, yet our sports talk radio and "tunnel vision" fans continually pound it into our heads! Who gives a flying ****!!!

What's worse, we have a Warriors team that was the Cinderella story of last years playoffs, made it to the Semi-Finals and quite possibly could have eliminated the Spurs from contention and earned a spot in the Western Finals had their compliment of players been healthy, yet when I look to media outlets to try and find some discussion on them, all I could locate was crickets! It was these driving forces that manifested the birth of my GSW Blog, where I could talk Warriors 24/7 365.
